About
Tandem Journaling started with a relationship I’ve admired my entire life—my parents’. They’re complete opposites, yet they navigate differences with curiosity, openness, and respect. One practice that always stood out to me was their quarterly life planning sessions: intentional time set aside to reflect, realign, and grow together. As adults, my sister and I were invited into these conversations, and that tradition became a meaningful way for our family to stay connected.
Years later, I adapted this idea for my own relationship. Every few months, my partner and I dress in business casual, walk down to a meeting room or coffee shop, and talk through our goals and values. It quickly became one of the most grounding and meaningful things we do together.
When I started sharing this practice with friends, I realized how many couples, especially younger ones, want this kind of intentionality but don’t know where to start. That realization led to Tandem Journaling.
I created Tandem Journaling to make meaningful conversation feel more accessible. Each journal provides structure, guidance, and thoughtfully designed prompts to help couples reflect, communicate, and grow together without pressure or awkwardness. The journal offers the framework, but the real value comes from what you uncover together.
My hope is to normalize intentional, future-oriented conversations and help couples build relationships that feel grounded, resilient, and deeply connected.
